This article applies to NetSupport Manager v14.00. To see steps on how to use this on version 12.80 and below, click here.

Using NetSupport Manager, it is not possible to capture the print output from two printers simultaneously using a Client PC – only one at a time. However, it is possible to capture different printers on the same Client by changing the settings from within the NetSupport Manager Control.

To capture a different printer, you need to have the same printer drivers installed at both the Client and Control. It is not possible to change the printer used for print capture while you are connected to the Client.

To capture different printers on the same Client

  1. Open the Control application.
  2. Click the Change the settings for the current Configuration icon on the caption bar.
  3. Select Print Capture.

  1. Choose the first printer to capture output from.
  2. Connect to the Client and use print capture to capture the output from printer 1.
  3. Disconnect from the Client.
  4. Click the Change the settings for the current Configuration icon on the caption bar.
  5. Select Print Capture.
  6. Choose the second printer to capture output from.
  7. Connect to the Client and use print capture to capture the output from printer 2.
