Below are the TCP/IP ports numbers used by NetSupport School. Please note some of these ports are configurable within NetSupport School.
Tutor
Browses and connects to Students on port 5405 (TCP and UDP).
Uses port 7 or 9 for the Power On feature (these are standard WOL ports).
Uses port 5421 for the Multicast\Broadcast Show and File Distribution features.
Listens on port 5421 for auto reconnections from the Student.
Student
Listens on port 5405 for connection requests from a Tutor\Tech Console.
Terminal Server Students listen on port 25405 for connection requests from a Tutor\Tech Console.
Tech Console
Browses and connects to Students on port 5405 (TCP and UDP).
Uses port 7 or 9 for the Power On feature (these are standard WOL ports).
Name and Connectivity Server
Communicates with the Tutor Console and Student using port 443.
Tutor Assistant
Communicates with the Tutor Console using port 37777.
