Within NetSupport School, there are two methods that can be used to perform the Show feature. For more details on the different Show modes, see What are the differences between normal and Broadcast Show?

When multiple NetSupport School Tutors use the Broadcast Show mode (also called Performance mode), you may not be able to view or monitor the Student’s screen. Instead of seeing the Student’s screen, you see a blank grey screen. This is caused by UDP traffic from another Tutor’s Broadcast Show interfering with the traffic between your Student and Tutor.

To avoid this conflict, ensure all Tutors on your network are using a unique UDP port number for Broadcast Show and it is not being used by any other application.

To change the port number

  1. Select {School}{Configuration} from the Tutor Console drop-down menu.
  2. Select Network and Wireless Settings.
  3. In the Broadcast Settings section, click Settings.

  1. Change the port number to a unique unused UDP port number.
  2. Click OK.
