NetSupport has released an updated version of NetSupport Manager to address the vulnerability reports below raised against the NetSupport Manager Client component for Windows:
- NetSupport Manager Clipboard RCE
- NetSupport Manager File Transfer DoS
A solution to both of the reports has been included in NetSupport Manager from version 14.12.0005 released on 16-Sep-2026.
This updated version of NetSupport Manager is available for download from our website at https://www.netsupportmanager.com/downloads. Alternatively, if you have registered on the My Support area, you can log in and download from here https://support.netsupportsoftware.com/.
Note: The above items do not apply to a default installation of the NetSupport Manager Client which includes the User Acknowledgement option enabled by default or for NetSupport Manager Clients with additional Security settings enabled such as the AD\NT Authentication, User Acknowledgement or Security key.
They would apply to NetSupport Manager Client installations where the NetSupport Manager Client security options available have been chosen to be disabled on the Client.
