By default, classroom.cloud will split safeguarding data by site. For example, all devices under site one would have all their phrase matches for all staff and students under the same tab. However, with safeguarding views, you can now split and configure who can see each view. One way this could work is by splitting the safeguarding matches based on year groups or to split the data based on whether this relates to student or staff phrase matches. Its then possible to only allocate relevant staff members to see just the Safeguarding view they require rather than having to view every year group/staff member and going through these individually. This would be useful for staff members like heads of year to be able to manage their year group individually and also for managing access to staff phrase matches.

You can apply this by either device groups you have created in your site or through safeguarding groups.

First, you need to enable safeguarding views at organisation level:

In the classroom.cloud Web Portal, go to Organisation > Settings > Safeguarding > General.

You will now see each safeguarding view under Safeguarding > Phrase matches.
