Using NetSupport Notify, it is possible to send a pre-configured notification from a machine that has the Notification Console installed via the use of a desktop shortcut.
This is useful for allowing a user to quickly send out a notification when they may not be in a position to compose a message using the Notification Console interface, for example, a teacher requesting that a misbehaving student is removed from the lesson.
Sending the pre-configured message works via the use of a VBScript file and this will send the message to the Agent departments, which have also been predetermined within the script file.
