Transferring students into new classes

There are three methods for transferring students to their new classes in ReallySchool.

The quickest methods are to either use MIS integration or to import your new academic year data.

These work as follows:

1. Log in as an admin.
2. Select Manage School.
3. Go to the Classes tab.
4. Select the pencil icon next to each class and press Remove.
5. This archives your existing classes, enabling you to update ReallySchool with your new classes.
6. Go to Import or MIS integration.
7. Import – Follow the guidance to import your data for the new academic year.

8. MIS Integration – Fill out the form to request WONDE integration. Guidance for the process can be found here.
9. All your pupils will be moved into their new classes.

Alternatively, you can transfer your pupils manually using the following method:

1. Log in as an admin.
2. Go to the Classes tab.
3. Archive your end of school classes, e.g. Year 6 classes (select the pencil icon, then Remove).
4. Add new classes to replace these (press the + button on the Classes tab).
5. Select Manage School.
6. Then the Transfer tab.
7. Select the current class and the class you would like to move the pupils to.
8. Select the students you wish to move and press Transfer to move them into the new classes.
9. Repeat until all pupils are in their new classes.
